
NFL Week 16: New York Giants vs. Baltimore Ravens

Back in Week 12, the Baltimore Ravens (9-5) and New York Giants (8-6) were seat on top of their divisions. But over the past three dates, the two teams have lost a combined total of five games.
The Ravens have already sealed their ticket to the playoffs. However, the team has lost three consecutive games. They lost to Pittsburgh (20-23), Washington (28-31 OT), and Denver (34-17). But losses by the Steelers and Bengals on Week 15 allowed the Ravens to lock their fifth consecutive playoff berth.
With only one game left after their meeting vs. New York, Baltimore hopes to snap a three-game slide and win their second straight AFC North.
The Giants, meanwhile, is coming of an embarrassing 34-0 loss at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons. The loss left New York with its playoff hopes in suspended animation. They have won just two of their last six games. This has allowed the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys to even things up in the NFC East race.
The Giants need to win their final two games to qualify for the playoffs. A victory over the Ravens would help. Losses by the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, and Washington Redskins would also catapult the Giants to the postseason. But if the Giants lose this game, they will loss all chances to make it to the playoffs.
